10 Tips For A Prosperous Practice (Part 4)

Today we go over the last of the 10 tips.

But first I want to expand on the 3 low-cost, high-return marketing methods for hypnotists.

I. Referrals

Every successful hypnotist I’ve interviewed gets the majority of their business from referrals.

My definition of successful is they have a 6-figure practice.

Like Scott Sandland who built his all-referral practice without spending a dime on advertising.

II. Public Speaking

If you know how to structure a presentation, you can get at least one new client every time you speak.

I know, because NLP Expert Kevin Cole does this every time he speaks.

I interviewed him on his method. If you would like to hear the interview, click below to download it.

III. Free Publicity

One article about you or your business can have you booked for weeks or even months.

Just ask Debbie Lane in Palm Harbor FL.

Debbie_Lane

In 2007 She sent out a press release for her first World Hypnotism Day event.

The result?

She got an BIG article in the St. Pete Times (see photo below) and was still seeing clients who called her 6 months later!

I recommend you send out press releases at least once a month.

9. Consistent Follow-Up With Prospects

Hypnotists are notoriously bad at follow up with prospective clients. Bad meaning they don’t do it at all!

Even adding 3 follow-ups with each prospect can have a HUGE positive impact on your cash flow.

10. Automate Your Marketing

The Internet makes marketing much easier for small businesses.

By using Email in your funnels, your marketing can be automated by using Email Service Providers (ESP).

This means you can build it once and use it over and over. And you can create a reliable system for getting you more business, that will run 24/7/365.

Even while you are on vacation!

The 2 Email Service Providers I recommend (and use) are:

SendPepper – This is the one I use and the #1 system I recommend to my consulting clients.

It has fully automated email, a customizable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, and even the ability to send postcards as part of a follow up sequence.

The starter version is $29.99/month. You can test-drive it for 15 days at no-cost using this link:

GetResponse – This is a new favorite and a good option if you are on a budget.

You can get started for $15/month for up to 1,000 contacts on your list.

They try to make it easy to use, but I find their editor somewhat clunky.

However they do have one very cool feature, which is the Inbox Viewer. You can see how your email will look in the most common email readers. Including mobile devices.

You can test-drive it for 30 days for free using this link:
